Introduction
This monthly report covers Across DAO activities and focus areas for May 2024.
Governance
The CEC Renewal Proposal successfully passed
Treasury Management
- Coordinated transfer of May Events Budget of 3,914 ACX
- Reimbursed Benni for Wonderverse campaign monthly payment
- Coordinated the return of 83,500 ACX on 06/01/2024 as the integration Campaign has ended.
- Next month will require more reimbursals as well as a quarterly bonus payout for the team.
Onboarding
Wonderverse is currently in its early stages, with Benni and Mide actively experimenting with gamified onboarding and community engagement quests. See the analytics below.
Contests / Games
Events went according to plan. We have gained in participation, little by little. Also, the entry into the force of Wonderverse makes many more people gradually become interested in the activities on Discord.
Soccer events continue to be something that is welcomed by everyone. This has helped increase participation in the DAO even over the weekends.

Fantasy Football League For Euro 2024 (14th June to 14th of July)
Germany will host the tournament, which is scheduled to take place from 14 June to 14 July 2024 and the winner will later compete in the 2025 CONMEBOL–UEFA Cup of Champions against the 2024 Copa América winner. This is the first tournament with 24 teams, and Georgia is the only team making it is European Championship finals debut.
You need to be in the Across discord to participate, as the league’s link is available only for members. The initial prize pool is set at 350 ACX, but will go bigger if the participation is massive.
The top five managers at the end of the tournament, and maybe more, will share the bounty. The winner will receive at least 100 ACX, the runner-up 80 ACX, then 60, 40 and 20 tokens for the next ones. There are also two prizes of 10 ACX for the top two managers at the end of the group stage, and the same for who scores the most in the final.
How to play? Join Across and follow the link to make your team. Use the $100 mil. budget to select 15 players and you’re ready to rumble. Select the starting eleven and the captain, depending on who they are playing. They will earn points based on IRL performance and your captain will get double-up! That’s all!
Reply guy strategy
(CEC) is implementing an initiative called the “reply guy” strategy. It’s a way for the community to spread the word about Across organically.
Think of it as a community outreach program. Whenever someone online talks about something Across can chime in on, the CEC jumps in to share Across as a solution, directly sharing across link posts
Amanda leads this weekly effort, coordinating the CEC’s participation in relevant conversations.

Discord Moderation:
CEC is working hard to keep the community safe! Smarty, along with the Community Essentials Committee (CEC) and Community Manager (Benni), are actively removing scammers and bots.
This is an ongoing effort, especially after the recent social campaign with Linea and Intract, which unfortunately attracted some unwanted attention from scammer bots.
Thanks to everyone for staying alert.
Community
The feedback channel is still open to get feedback and improvement ideas directly from the community and users. A first cut was made, with a first document prepared collecting more than 5 feedbacks and they were presented to the team through CM Benni. Users were given a response directly in the feedback channel. We think it was a good first impression and we want all users to join this channel to make Across better for everyone.
The committee has been assisting over on the technical team providing support to other relayers and aspiring relayers in the relayers channel, he also provides support in support tickets and the developer channel
Snapshot strategies
Britt launched a task to create the Across strategies in snapshot that are still missing and be able to obtain voting power wherever an ACX exists.

We took the task of organizing a chat group with those users who were willing to accept the challenge. Currently Excluded The following “flavors” of ACX are NOT currently captured in our set of Snapshot strategies:
- ACX pooled on Uniswap (LP token)
- ACX pooled on Balancer (LP token)
- ACX pooled on Velodrome (LP token on OP)
- Staked 50wstETH-50ACX
- Unclaimed ACX rewards earned on staked USDT, 50wstETH-50ACX
- Unclaimed referral rewards
Of these excluded strategies, we managed to do these (These strategies still have to be approved by someone on the team):
- Staked 50wstETH-50ACX in Across
- Staked 50wstETH-50ACX in Balancer
- Unclaimed ACX rewards earned on staked USDT, 50wstETH-50ACX
This included hard teamwork since a lot of information and even programming were needed.
Still waiting for feedback from the team to be able to verify that the work done is correct and to be able to continue.
In April, the committee assisted Pooltogether team in adding funding to the Risk Labs relayer and to the Across POOL LP to increase POOL token bridge liquidity. Communicated between Across development team and Pooltogether community. If Pooltogether’s new launch is successful, then Across will be a big player in moving POOL cross chain. There will be a POOL staking pool on each chain where Pooltogether is live and they have 5 new chains to be added on top of the current lineup of Optimism, BASE, Arbitrum, and Ethereum. Pooltogether is a prize saving account where you can forgo your interest without risking your principal and the interest is awarded as prizes. POOL bridging is now live on BASE and Arbitrum and gets a decent amount of use.
