Future Plans

Scaling Up Storytelling Efforts: Continue leveraging narratives to simplify ERC-7683 and other complex concepts.

Targeted Engagement on Socials: Increase presence in relevant discussions to further Across’ visibility.

Expand Cultural Crossovers: Explore more ways to bridge cultural elements with DeFi to attract diverse audiences.

Community Challenges & Rewards: Encourage participation through interactive content and potential incentives.

By maintaining a balance between outreach and internal engagement, We aim to continuously grow Across’ presence while keeping the community excited and informed.

Specification & Implementation:

Upon approval, the CEC’s budget will be transferred from the DAO to the committee’s Ethereum safe (to a new wallet under Across DAO management and Llamapay.io streams to be set-up by CEC) The committee will self-manage the events budget.

Additionally, a performance bonus of $10,000 USD worth of ACX tokens will be transferred at the end of Q2 and Q3 2025, as outlined in the Across DAO governance operating manual.

Compensation:

To mitigate the risks associated with volatile token prices, the CEC recommends utilizing a 90-day average (0.400272372) derived from Coingecko’s closing prices to determine the budget’s rate. This average will be re-calculated on the date the snapshot vote is posted, ensuring fair compensation for the committee members.

Unspent Budget from last quarter:

The CEC has an unspent budget from previous quarters of ~29k ACX, so we believe it is sufficient to cover expenses for the coming period.

The monthly budget breakdown is as follows (It will be covered with the unspent budget):

  • Wonderverse: $50
  • Prizes/Giveaways/Events: $500
  • Discord Nitro: $30
  • Video Editing capcut: $30
  • Twitter Blue (for Intern account): $8

Monthly Total: $618
Quarterly Total: $1,854
Half Year Total: $3,708

Budget Request
Half year Compensation- $20,000
Q2 2024 Bonus- $10,000
Q3 2025 Bonus- $10,000

$20,000 @0.400272372 = 49,966 ACX
$10,000 @0.2443 = 40,933 ACX for Q2 2024
$10,000 @0.2443 = 40,933 ACX for Q3 2025

Grand total - 131,892 ACX

Rationale:

The CEC provides a valuable service to the Across community, with the new plan in action, there will be a more structured format with set actionable items trackable through KPIs, this will be reported to the Across Community Manager.
